E-Collecting Hackathon - Swiss Federal Chancellery

At this year’s Federal Chancellery Hackathon, we had the unique opportunity to work alongside innosolv and Swiss Post on the implementation of E-Collecting: a digital approach designed to modernize the collection of signatures for political initiatives. The goal was to make democratic processes more efficient, transparent, and more accessible to all citizens.

In interdisciplinary teams comprising administrative experts, developers, and startup innovators, ideas were developed, concepts discussed, and initial realistic concepts created.

Particularly exciting was the collaboration with experienced partners such as innosolv and Swiss Post, who brought practical perspectives to the table and demonstrated how technological innovations can be seamlessly integrated into existing structures.

The hackathon once again demonstrated that true innovation in e-government can only succeed through close cooperation between startups, government agencies, and established companies. We are proud to have been part of this creative process and look forward to continuing to shape the future of e-collecting together.
